Roc Associates are regularly called upon to act as surveyors in Party Wall matters and do so in strict compliance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. With a comprehensive knowledge of the provisions of the Act, Roc Associates works on behalf of building owners and adjoining owners alike to ensure that in all works, no unnecessary disruption or delays occur.
For building owners, Roc Associates are well positioned to advise on all building options available, including potential changes to proposed schemes, to ensure the smooth running of party wall works. We will undertake all necessary research to identify adjoining owners, serve notices, administrate in matters of consent or dissent, act as appointed surveyors in matters of dispute, prepare Schedules of Condition and administrate the service of party wall awards.
For adjoining owners we will act as overseers to ensure that all obligations under the Act are fully complied with, liaise with the building surveyors on your behalf; act as appointed surveyors in matters of dispute, and administrate in any issues relating to damage and recovery of associated costs, if necessary, once works have been completed.
